We welcomed Lauren Flax to Scratch DJ Academy. Lauren currently is a member of the Brooklyn based band CREEP with Lauren Dillard. She also toured with Fischerspooner as their tour DJ from 2008-2011. In the late 00’s she released her first single “You’ve Changed” featuring vocals by Sia of Zero7 fame. In 2010, Sia re-recorded “You’ve Changed” and released it as her first single from the album, We Are Born.

In this segment of Watch and Learn, she stops by and shows us how to use the Delay Designer effect with Logic 9, which is a multi-tap delay which can turn a simple bass line into a ethereal, cloudy soundscape that can upgrade your tracks from amateur to professional.
